New car! 2011 Ford Focus! So so excited!

Today was a hell of a day full of really intense ups and downs. Everything was busy, everything was chaos.

I am now the owner of a 2011 Ford Focus. It’s blue and exciting. I am not as excited as I should be, but I think that’s because big change and commitment causes me more anxiety than excitement. Woo.

This is good though. I did extensive research, it has really low miles, I got a great extended warranty and a good price. This car is right for me.

Today is the last day I’ll drive my faithful ‘92 Honda Accord. This car has been through hell and back (as you can see when my old roommate got a hold of it). I love this car, but I’m excited to go get my new one tonight!

Lawrence Arms now 100% official for Pouzza Fest. Along with The Bouncing Souls, Brutal Youth, Joey Cape, Cheap Girls, Classics of Love, Mikey Erg, Dave Hause, Hot Water Music, Junior Battles, Lagwagon, Less Than Jake, Joe McMahon, The Menzingers, Nightlights, Matt Smashers, Jon Snodgrass, Suicide Machines, Tightrope, and many more. I also have a strong feeling that either Paint It Black, Kid Dynamite or Lifetime (who played last year) are going to be announced in the next batch of bands, since they said they booked a “legendary Philly band”, and unless The Menzingers are already considered legends, said band has yet to be announced. Get your tickets, everyone.

It just came on my shuffle and… FEST.

I want to go to Fest.

Seriously. Must Fest again. Fest harder.

John Flynn. I must Fest again, you’re right. But, I Fested pretty hard last year. So hard, in fact, that I don’t remember most of Against Me!’s set. Tooo hard. I don’t know if I could Fest harder this year.

This year I will fest harder for I will be over 21.

My Fest group of friends is baillinggggg. Now its a matter of finding new hotel mates and stuffffffff. But I might still, even without them (though it really wouldn’t be the same) because I know I will know plenty of people to hang with. Right JohnFlynn?

My weekend:

I needed all of this so badly. I had a blast hanging with my friends, drinking and enjoying some good ol’ acoustic punk tunes on Friday night.

I spent Saturday sitting around watching this season’s 30 Rock with my best friend here. Then had a really late Christmas with my family. No one fought, it was a miracle.

Then today, I got waffles (WAFFLES!!!) with Joe again, and we sat on my couch for hours and started Parks and Rec. It was just what I needed. To hang out with with someone who knows me way too well, to bitch about things to, and to sit and do nothing with.

Now I’m car shopping and researching and making big people decisions.

Moral of the story: Joe Henderer may drive me fucking bonkers at times, but at other times he is just what I need in my life.
